Remembering Past President Jim Friel

The Friel Family would like to announce that there will be a celebration of life for Dr. James Otto Friel. To be held November 1st at Memory Gardens in Brea at ten in the morning, with a gathering of friends and family at the house in Chino Hills afterwards. He left us on Friday November the 1st of last year. His devotion to his family, to his life was extraordinary. Joy and fun were always present as he embraced everyone he encountered. He was genuine, original, and caring as a man could be. We will miss him greatly and always remember his zest for all good things in life. He genuinely enjoyed his time with the Jaguar club. A Jaguar man since the mid 70’s. He and my mom Elizabeth shared seven. A 64XKE series II. 86 XJ series III. 95 XJ6. 03? S-type. 07 XKR coupe.14 XK convertible and a 05 XJ8L. The XK and the Xj8L remain with the family. We are honored to have had him in our lives as a Husband, Brother, Father, Friend, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He was a Giant of a man and will never be forgotten.
