Hello Jaguar Owners Club Members and welcome to 2021 Events Planning.
2020 was a challenging year for all of us and we still managed to hold tours, rally’s, and Annual Concours. Some of our members even participated with the San Diego Jaguar Club tours. Obviously COVID-19 Rules have put a damper on our activities for most of our Los Angeles and Orange County Members, with the advent of the vaccine program in full swing, the Board of Directors are anticipating the possibility of events later this year, maybe by the beginning summer. Some of the ideas that have been offered include:
- ORANGE COUNTY RALLY/TOUR and PICNIC of the back roads of Anaheim Hills, Nichols Ranch and Carbon Canyon
- Caravan and tour of the MARCH AIR FORCE MUSEUM and Picnic or lunch at the MISSION INN in Riverside
- BOUQUET CANYON RALLY/TOUR and PICNIC
- The RONALD REAGAN LIBRARY Tour PICNIC
- Tech Sessions at BRITISH EUROPEAN or JP’s EUROPEAN
- ANNUAL CONCOURS at IDYLLWILD INN with INLAND EMPIRE Jaguar Club
- Possible ANNUAL CONCOURS at the BATTLESHIP IOWA
- CAL CLUBS MEET in MORRO BAY with all California Clubs
- RALLY/TOUR of PALOS VERDES, picnic at Fort MacArthur or Point Vicente Lighthouse, Golden Cove
- Tour of the Museum of Neon Art in Glendale
- ANNUAL PICNIC at El Dorado Park in Long Beach by the lake
- Weekend on CATALINA ISLAND
- Tour of the San Diego Wild Animal Park with the San Diego Jaguar Club
- San Diego Jaguar Club Tours/Picnics
- Progressive Dinner in LA and Orange County, hosted by members
- Tour of Nethercutt Museum, Mullin Museum, Marconi Race Car Collection
- K1 Electric Go-Cart Racing in Torrance
- Glendora Ridge Road tour to Mt. Baldy, ROUTE 66 lunch
These are some of the ideas and we are looking for your ideas and favorite outings, eateries, events to add to the list. We are hopeful that things will get back to normal very some and we want to ready to resume our normal routines. Let me know what you think and let’s hope for the best!!!
